01 Nov The Woman and The River // Sunday November 9th, 2014, 7:30 p.m.
Presentation of „Habia una vez una mujer – the woman and the river“
The play presents through narratives and dancings acts a parabel of a woman who is married to a river and is based on a parabel of the Lakoter Indians of South America. While dreaming, the woman lets phases of her live passing by. Childhood, youth and family life are brought to life and past desires and hopes are waked up again. The river may be allegorized as the Flow/River/Source of Life. At the end dream and reality meld with each other.
